I created this ad for the Thanksgiving/November in-house sale. It was a newspaper and social media ad that was resized and reformatted for different platforms.
This was the first in our Monster Series, which was such a huge hit that it was still requested three years later. When creating sock designs, I first started with color and trend research. Then I created a graphic of the design and a representation of how it would wrap on the sock form. Finally, I created the code for the circular knit machine to knit the sock.
I started this design by researching and implementing pattern, character design, and color trend forecasting. I then created the original graphic, the coding for the machine to knit the sock, and the colorways. This sock was released after the Monster Series, demonstrating to the market that our on-trend design wasn’t a one-off and that Wigwam was changing their aesthetic to follow trends in the high-end Outdoor apparel market.
This is the original proposal graphic for the whale sock’s creation.
This sock was a part of the Monster Series. This design used a different trend than the other Monster Socks released in this series. The line drawing created a more subtle and elegant take on the idea of a “monster.” By using multiple design and fashion trends to create this line, we were able to reach a broader audience and appeal to multiple markets.
This sock was a part of the Monster Series, using trend-forward patterning and high-end moisture-wicking technology.
This was a holiday sales sheet I made for holiday gift box-set promotions.
This is a lifestyle photoshoot I shot and directed. This shoot's purpose was to target outdoorsy millennials, the demographic with the largest expendable income.
Traverse Peak is a part of the Peak 2 Pub line. This sock was seen as impossible to knit, but I coded the machine to handle it. After high praise from the sales team for something so easy to sell, I won the company award of the year, The Bob Chesebro Award. This design is the most detailed sock Wigwam has ever created.
I directed and styled this photoshoot. After editing photos, I used the them to create ads. Photoshoots, that I directed and edited, like this were used to create a more updated and on-trend urban style for sport usage.
This design features sleek swoops and curves to emulate speed and motion. Instead of creating color by changing main body yarn, I dropped the main body yarn for those stitches to expose the body nylon. This process creates a highly durable mesh panel for breathability and durability. This keeps the sock from becoming bulky in a high performance ski or snowboard boot.
Runvious Pro is a high-end running sock. This sock features sleek rounded lines to emulate motion and speed. It utilizes patented moisture wicking technology and a more durable yarn for the toe and heel to prevent wear in high abrasion areas. It also has precision fit elastic bands and mesh panels for breathability.
Two design trends were tackled by this design: tessellated shapes in backgrounds, and a dream-like color palette seen in recent youth fashions.
After a company rebranding, I updated the package design to retain the heritage of the brand while using a cleaner style. The different layers of transparent text and graphics creates depth and is a way of increasing memory recall of the package, as depth can increase a customer’s attention span regarding the subject. The “Made in USA” branding is also visible on the front of the package while not outshining the company logo or being “too visible” which was seen as a negative for some global markets. In addition, this package design resolves the problem of having to dart the sock, which creates holes in the product and company cost for product replacement.

I designed and created this brochure for a heritage clothing line made to accompany our classic sock line. I shot the lifestyle photos, and directed the in-studio shoot. I chose an accordion folding style for this brochure as it had to fit in a pocket in the sock catalog.
